On Sunday, March 21st, 2021, at approximately 10:00 a.m., District 1 Patrol Officers responded to a welfare check at Front Range Tire located at 3005 South Peoria Street.
Once on scene, officers located an adult male on the ground, next to the building. This male had obvious trauma injuries and was declared deceased on scene. The male was taken to the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office and an autopsy was completed. It has been determined that the male was shot multiple times which led to his death. This case is now classified as a homicide and will be investigated by our Major Crimes Homicide Unit. Because this is an active investigation, there is no additional information to share.
The name of the victim was released by the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office after he was positively identified as Vincent Brown (09/16/1998).
We now need the public's assistance. Anyone who may have observed anything suspicious, or has information about this case, is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720.913.7867. By using Crime Stoppers, tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for a REWARD of up to $2,000.
