On June 1st, 2020 at about 8:15 P.M. Aurora Police and Fire responded to the area of E. Kentucky Ave. & S. Havana St. on a report of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.   Initial investigation reveals that a late model sedan, driven by an adult female, was exiting a business parking lot westbound, and went into the path of a motorcycle which being ridden by an adult male northbound on S. Havana St.

The vehicles collided, causing the motorcyclist to be ejected from the motorcycle, causing serious, possibly life threatening injuries.  He was transported to a local hospital.  The driver of the car remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.  Drugs and / or alcohol do not appear to be a factor at this time.  

The investigation is ongoing by the APD Traffic Unit, and the identities of the parties involved are not being released at this time.
