The Aurora4Biz customer portal provides a place to upload plans, pay for select permits, review and comment on development projects, apply and renew select licenses, and other online services related to building, planning and development.
Additional permitting services for things like block parties, filming and temporary use permits; business licensing services for arborists, marijuana businesses, liquor, trash hauling and more; and fire/life safety inspections are available at BuildAurora.org.
The city recently launched a new customer service portal, DevPortal.AuroraGov.org, which currently only includes registering for neighborhood and community groups, scheduling pre-application meetings, and Small Cell and Fiber license applications. This portal does not include any building permit services at this time, but Aurora Water floodplain development permits will be added July 19. Additional services will be added in the coming months, including temporary use permits, temporary sign permits and film permits (now Aug. 9); arborist license application and renewal (Sept. 13); and donation bin permits and block party permits (Sept. 27).
DevPortal.AuroraGov.org will be offline from 6 p.m. the night prior to new services launching until the morning of the day of launch.
